First and foremost we are musicians. We know what it is like to be frustrated by the major labels and the media. That is why we are independent. By staying independent we can promote and distribute our music in whichever way we please.
We believe that the musician is the most important part in the musician/label relationship.
We believe that all creative decisions should be made by creative people. All creative decisions regarding music should be made by the person that created the music, not by any company or organisation.
We are strongly anti DRM (digital rights management). It is our belief that the consumer will continue to buy whatever they want, and pirate whatever the want, regardless of any barriers put in their way. If people want to buy music they will buy it. If people want to pirate music they will pirate it. We seek to promote our music by fostering a good, trusting and friendly relationship with our potential listeners.
Furthermore we believe that once you have purchased an album or a track you should be able to copy that album or track to other devices that you own freely. It is in an artists best interest that his or her music be heard as often as possible. DRM puts the ownership of the music in the hands of big business. We are 100% against DRM in all its forms and actively campaign for its removal by any means neccessary.
We believe that good music will always find an audience and that this audience will be willing to pay the artist for their music as long as they feel fairly treated.
The big labels and businesses can keep the manufactured “non-musician” rubbish they churn out and lock it down with as much DRM as they like. Independent labels and musicians are the future of real music. Viva la revolution!
